There is a bridge between Malmo and Copenhagen. You can either drive, take a bus or go by train. The train takes about 25 minutes, driving will take longer depending on where you start. 90 minutes sounds a lot though, to my experience (I live in Malmo) it would take about 45 minutes from the center of Copenhagen to the center of Malmo. Driving is quite expensive though because there is a bridge toll, it's cheaper to catch the train.

Yes there is it should take you about 90mins to get from one side to the other or at least that's what a Danish guy told me when I was there earlier this year
