I'll be visiting Copenhagen for a day on a cruise ship, and I don't want to take their over-priced shore excursions. Can anyone tell me where the cruise ships dock and how to get from there to the city?

The many cruise ships have made it necessary to find quay berth in several places in Copenhagen Harbour. However, it is still the will-known Langelinie that is the city’s favourite mooring space for the big cruise liners. And all mooring space will be occupied on 3 June and 13 July when all of six cruise ships will be alongside in Copenhagen Harbour.

Right on Langelinie Cruise Pier — which is in walking distance of the main part of the city — passengers will find the Cruise Information Center where English speaking staff are available to answer questions. Here, guests also can purchase the Copenhagen Card to receive discounts at main attractions.
